What is VOICES: VOICES seeks to educate and raise awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and elder abuse within our community. VOICES members share their stories of hope, courage and strength as a way to bring a voice for those women who have yet to find theirs.

Who is invited: Survivors of family violence with passion, enthusiasm and commitment that desire to partner together to raise their voice to help bring public awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault, elder and child abuse.

Meetings: The VOICES Committee meets monthly (call 530-243-8868 for more details) .

Location: All meetings take place at the Shasta Family Justice Center

Purpose of Voices
The mission of the Shasta County VOICES is to promote public support and bring awareness of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Elder and Child Abuse through community education by sharing stories of hope, courage and strength. VOICES seeks to break the silence that enables abusers and VOICES empowers survivors to take a stand by raising their voice.
